An excellent example of the inventive style of Wilson Tawaquaptewa.    His figures were creative combinations from his mind's eye, sometimes mixed with features from the traditional Katsinam pantheon and always carried out in an amusing way.  Wilson was the Chief of the village of Orayvi from 1904 until his death in 1960.  His Katsinas are highly sought after.
